Long time, No see.

Well it's been a long time since I've been on here...but it's good to be back.

A lot has happened since I last posted and I have recently become very fond of the scriptures found in 2 Corinthians 2:3-4 which say: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God."
I have learned a lot since the last time I wrote on here... God wants me to be the comfort other people (believers and non-believers) need as he was to me. I know it will be a lot of work, but I'm up for the challenge. ;)

Long time, no see...

I haven't been on here in almost a month now....Lots of homework, lots of studying, and lots of reading...Nothing really exciting going on in my life...I did take a pretty cool picture yesterday...Well, I think it's cool....

Good news!

I finished my first story! :) yay!

Lots of awkward moments today at school..... today was well an interesting day, that's for sure! :P

well....

When I'm having a bad day I can always count on April, Turner, and Brian to make it interesting....

Interesting day....

When I got on the bus this afternoon I still had my glasses on from hurrying from my last class and I got on and the bus driver looked at me and said, "Wrong bus."
"Nope this is my bus," I replied, nodding my head.
"Oh! I didn't recognize you with your glasses on!" the bus driver laughs.
Really?

Also this guy asked who I was going to ask to the winter dance.
"I'm not asking anyone," I said ready for him to leave me a lone (typically I'm not that rude to people, but 1 this guy gets on my nerves and 2 I find him somewhat annoying).
"Why not?" He said.
"I don't wanna go," I replied.
"But everyone wants to go," he protested.
"Not me," I said, "I just don't wanna go."
"Yeah, sure...whatever... I know you, and you are just too chicken to ask someone."
"Am not!" I said, "There isn't anyone here that I want to ask, therefore I'm not going."
He stands there for a second then pulls my best guy friend over and says, "Here ask him."
"No! I said I'm not asking anyone!" I say.
My other friend, who just got pulled into this conversation looks from me to the guy I'm almost arguing with and then asks, "Ask me what?"
"Nothing," I blurted out. Then we went on with the conversation for a few more minutes while I tried to tell these two guys that I wasn't going to the dance and that was final.
When I thought my day couldn't get any weirder this guy that sits at the same lunch table comes up to me and puts his arm around me. This causes me to try and get out of his grasp, but he wouldn't let go and continues to discuss with me how I have "beautiful eyes" and then we keep discusses this as he walks down the hallway all the way to the end of the hallway only to turn and walk the complete opposite way.... why I chose guys as best friends I'm not so sure?

Well......

Noah and I had to get glasses... :/ Noah looks absolutely adorable, but I just look like a dork... sigh.

I went to the library today and was in the Young Adult Christian Fiction section and I was taking so long Dad finally just grabbed two books and handed them to me telling me those were the ones I was going to read... :)

Well,

I was contemplating on what quote I should put on here.. Then I decided that it's important to share just how interesting my school lunch group is. No matter how I feel going into lunch I always know I will smile or have something to laugh about.

So today there will be no new quote only because I don't feel like posting one... Great reason I know right?

The movie Courageous comes out tonight and I am so excited! :) I want to see that SO bad! I'm reading the book right now and it's amazing! As in some parts you are laughing so hard and sometimes your face probably looks a little like..... 0.o or 0.0

school dances...

What is the point of school dances anyway? Heartbreak? The feeling of Rejection? The stressfulness of finding that "perfect" dress? The sweet two or three hours where you have fun until one person trips and falls into the punch bowl and ruins that once perfect dress? The blissfulness of feeling like you could be on top of the world until you realize it's just your platform styled heels that you can't walk in? The satisfaction of having heads turn your way?

School dances are pointless to me... If you can't already tell. :P

Nerd day...

This week is Pep week at school, which I think is stupid in the first place, but what makes it worse is that we have "Nerd Day"

Nerd day to me is pointless.... why do we have a nerd day, but not a jock day??? or Emo day? Why is it only the nerds that get a day where they pretty much get made fun of by the whole school and the teachers encourage it???
